Kelly + Ben, Plymouth Congregational Church Coconut Grove Wedding; Villa Woodbine Wedding Reception

Kelly + Ben had the most incredible Plymouth Congregational Church wedding to start off the New Year! When I tell you I think they had the luck of the Irish...more on that later...it was raining everywhere but where these two were. Always a wonderful moment, Ben seeing Kelly for the first time. The setting at Plymouth Congregational is absolutely from another time...established in 1897...it is a treasure and a thrill to photograph at this unique location. Here's where the luck of the Irish comes in...Kelly's dress is a wedding dress from 19th Century Ireland. Never have I seen such intricate, beautiful and luscious details... Kelly, without a doubt is Daddy's little girl.
The reception took place at another Coconut Grove landmark, Villa Woodbine. Situated on a limestone bluff overlooking Biscayne Bay, Villa Woodbine is one of the finest early twentieth century estates remaining in Coconut Grove. This outstanding Mediterranean Revival style house is noted for its fine detail and craftsmanship. The food was yummy as catered by Bill Hansen Catering...the team that Bill has is celebrated for their exceptional food and service! The cake was created by none other than...Ana Paz Cakes! What did Ben say...? I love this moment...I think someones wiping away lipstick... Again a great wedding to start off 2008!

Thank you to Geri Barounsky, wedding coordinator at Plymouth Congregational!
Special thanks to Linda and Martina of M & L Occasions for putting this all together!
Raffi at Petal Productions; again as always a phenomenal job!

Risha + Steve Loews Miami Beach Hotel Wedding

Risha and Steve are married...and what a beautiful Loews Miami Beach Hotel wedding celebration it was!

Here we have Steve getting that first look at his bride...
Risha is a stunningly beautiful bride in Reem Acra wedding gown! Sewn on the inside of Risha's wedding gown was a piece of her maternal grandfather's handkerchief with "something blue" added. Moments are non-stop at every wedding... The flowergirl, Risha's niece makes a dash for Daddy... The decor and flowers are the creation of Robert Torres of Grande Affaires...what an incredible chuppah to be married under! All their guest knew they were in for a visual feast once their eyes viewed the place card table. Risha and Steve honored their parents, grandparents and great grandparents with a stunning display honoring marriage with wedding photos going back generations! What an exquisite centerpiece in the beautiful ballroom at the Loews Miami Beach.
Who wants to eat cake before dinner? This cake is an artistic display of beauty and taste! Created by Cake Designs by Edda. The hora is symbolic of the couple now married a little closer to paradise... The Mezinka is a special dance for parents who's last child get married...what a great tradition...the parents sit in the center and are surrounded by their loved ones. I think Steve likes the "ring"! Risha and Steve thank you for a visual treat of a wedding...we absolutely loved being in the moment and experiencing the emotion of your love for family and each other! David's Temple Beth Am Bar Mitzvah, Miami

We had the pleasure of experiencing David's Temple Beth Am Bar Mitzvah recently! I cannot imagine a more mature, wonderful young man and this Bar Mitzvah was a joy to photograph.

David has a passion for soccer...
Loves his sister...
Has a passion for Judaism... Rabbi Bookman is a breath of fresh air at Temple Beth Am. A well known author and leader in the community. He's also a great guy!The new sanctuary at Temple Beth Am is beautiful! I have a feeling Rabbi Bookman has a special gift with the youth of the Temple. This is my favorite image from this day...a moment between David and his great Grandmother. Flowers and decor are the creation of the incredibly talented team at Always Flowers. David has a passion for Philadelphia sports...Eagles, Phillies, Flyers... Sis, Mom, Dad and David during the horah...what's unique is they were lifted together...as a family.
A quiet moment at the end of a long but wonderful day as David and Julie get a caricature of themselves that I am sure many years from now will give them a wonderful memory.
David...you are wise, humble and a really great kid! It was a joy sharing and photographing this day for you and your family. Thank you!
Special thanks to Melissa Davis of Melissa Davis Designs!
