Julie+Patrick= Beachy Head, Barbados Wedding

What a wonderful time we had photographing Julie and Patrick's Barbados wedding!

What a beautiful island for this destination wedding...famous for Mount Gay Rum and the site of another recent wedding...that of Tiger Woods.

Julie and Patrick were married on the cliffs of Beachy Head...overlooking the Atlantic Ocean...a constant breeze caressing the couple, families and friends.
Their program shared "Bits of Our Love" 'Quotations from our letters and emails'
"Here's to opening our eyes, diverting distractions, and not being afraid to let 'something, which may be nothing' grow into 'something worth waiting on'. Glad we took the chance and can't wait to see you! -Patrick 4.13.06
"It is amazing to me that we are on the same page in so many areas, yet we are different enough to keep this thing interesting and passionate. We are luck dogs I tell ya. -Julie 4.27.06

Truly a magical experience! Thank you for the invite...

Fifteen years ago...

I photographed Ann Marie, then I photographed Katherine and thru the years numerous family portraits of the Robertsons.

My first visit to their home I observed the numerous family portraits throughout the house going back many generations. Alice and Neil value family and having the images to look back on for years to come. We looked again at the photos that I had taken of their daughters at one year of age...how time flies and then I was asked " do we get a special discount for the wedding pictures?" I look forward to that day! But lets get thru High School and college first...

Gwen, Craig, Colby and London

I had the pleasure of documenting Gwen and Craig's wedding 6 years ago and to be a part of their family history and photographing them with their children is such an honor.

Dad had a great time being creative...it was his idea to put London on the piano keys and also went to the garden for the purple flowers.

Colby is an awesome big brother and even planted a kiss on his sister's temple very gently!

Christie and Mel are having a...had a BABY!!

My sisters had a beautiful boy named Aidan on October 5th...

Welcome Aidan into a world of love and adventures! He couldn't have two better mommies.
I think Aidan is in control here...he's controlling them thru sleep deprivation and crying...oh yes and being purely adorable! The first image is an awesome moment...Aidan is moving!

Congratulations! Looking forward to our boys growing up together!

Love you...Roy

"The wind beneath my wings"

These two keep me flying high, straight and happy. This is our son Ricardo and my beautiful wife Yeni. Yeni is the heart of our family, the tree that bends with the winds that blow. We have learned to dance together in life and she keeps me balanced. Ricardo clears my mind from all the craziness in this world and makes it all worthwhile! I love you both!

Stacey + Jeremy, Engagement Session on South Beach

August 12, 2006...A Wedding in Joliet, Illinois

For the last four years we have travelled to Chicago to visit my son while he attended the University of Illinois Veterinary Medical School. So when I had an opportunity to photograph Nicole and Mike's wedding in nearby Joliet, I jumped!

I had the pleasure to have as my associate, Tim Walters, www.timwaltersphoto.com .

They were married at the Cathedral of St Raymond's. The "church ladies" and Priest were so nice and gave me virtually "carte blanche" to document the wedding as it unfolded.

After the wedding what was really great was I had two hours to play! From the church we went to a beautiful botanical gardens and then to a firestation, Mike is a firefighter!

After the photos were done, we proceeded to DiNolfo's where the guests just let loose and a good time was had by all!

Those eyes!! That look...

Welcome Bailey!

It's always a rush to get the priviledge to photograph the babies of my wedding clients. I had the pleasure of photographing Karen and Jason's wedding and to be able to photograph Bailey was an honor.

We decided to shoot here in the Studio. I have a great space that allows me to shoot available light, no flashes going off to distract the little one. She was a joy the minute they walked in.

Karen mentioned that at first she was looking for smiles and the more that she looked at the portraits the more she saw the personality of Bailey coming thru.

All I can say is Bailey was so much fun to photograph!

Thank you Karen and Jason,

Roy

Michelle has a Quince!!

A quinceaƱera is a Hispanic tradition celebrating a 15-year-old girl’s transition from childhood into young womanhood.

What a blast I had photographing Michelle's Quince!

We started off with a great portrait session at the Studio and on to the beach. After meeting this beautiful young lady and seeing how beautiful she was inside as well I knew that this was going to be a special affair.

The evening started off with 15 lovely ladies entering the ballroom and getting ready for Michelle's grand entrance. Then Michelle escorted by her father Michael onto the dance floor for a first dance. With the energy that only Miami Heat DJ Irie can summon, the party went nonstop in to night!

The reception took place at the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne. Camila Chamorro of the Ritz did a fantastic job coordinating the staff to perfection. The centerpieces were created by the "always" fabulous Karen Cohen of Always Flowers. The cake was designed by Sara Paz and flawlessly executed by Chef Frederick of the Ritz!

Thank you, Michelle!
